Bryan Fewox’s employment with the Camden County Sheriff’s
Office (CCSO) began in February 2006. As Network Administrator he leads the
Information Technology Division (IT) and works with IT Specialist Dane Studstill
to share the responsibility for
day-to-day operations of Internet use, CCSO's intranet, network and all
other computer
software and hardware needs at all CCSO facilities. The 911 Dispatch
Center alone contains 14 computers and 24 monitors which require
continuous up keep and maintenance. The radio tower sites are located
from St. Marys to White Oak. IT Division assists Hasty's Communications
with maintaining all radio communication for emergency services
throughout Camden County. Maintaining all facilities with video and audio
coverage to ensure public safety is a large undertaking.
Bryan left Gilman Paper Company in 1996 to start an internet company.
The company provided the local community its first look at websites
about Camden County, the cities, and local businesses. The business grew
to become the largest Internet Service in Camden County. In 2003 the
business was sold to a local vendor.
Bryan
worked at Gilman Paper Company for seventeen years beginning in 1979.
During his employment he held elected offices for 14 years in the
United Paperworkers International Union Local 446. During this time he
began updating computer systems to more effectively handle the
paperwork for the union. He served on the
Private Industry Coucil for six years representing Camden County. In
1992
he was elected
President of the Local Union.
Bryan resides in St. Marys with his wife Susan. Bryan and Susan have two adult daughters and two grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with their granchildren.
