NEWS UPDATE
The expansion of the current jail will allow the Detention Facility to hold 100 additional inmates
and addresses the need for additional space in the facility.

• $1, 500,000 proposed cost of construction, door locks, security cameras and landscaping
  
• $3, 000,000 estimated cost to house inmates outside of Camden County per year
  
• If the pod is used more than 6 months a cost savings of 3,000,000 could be realized
