Outreach Programs

Each of these outreach programs provides a way for you to get more involved in your community and to support the Sheriff’s Office in the work we do on your behalf.

•  The Sheriff's Citizen's Police Academy - This popular program provides an opportunity to see behind the curtain, to experience firsthand all the many roles we serve in your community.

•  Neighborhood Watch - This program allows you to have a direct and vital role in protecting your home and the homes of your neighbors.

•  Crime Tips - Do you know what to look for or how to be safe? We list what are best practices to crime prevention. This program has proven to be immensely valuable in many communities across the country. When conditions occur that requires us to make you aware of a threat or dangers you can find them here.
  

•  COMING SOON - Employee of the Quarter – You get to see some of the faces and learn the names of the men and women who work for you behind the scenes. It is also an opportunity to recognize and thank them for all their hard work.

•  Canine Teams – Our canines do their best to take a bite out of crime, but off duty they are just like the canine friends that live in your homes. Click on the link to learn more about these amazing creatures.

•  Are You OK?  - This program is another way we reach out to our community and meet a very real need. The calls made by 911 Dispatchers to the ill, homebound and infirm can literally be lifesavers.
