WHAT IS NPSTW?

Every year in the second week of April, telecommunications personnel in public safety are honored for their service. It's a time to celebrate their dedication and thank them for their hard work. This tradition was started by a Sheriff's Office in California in 1981. Please join us this year in celebrating our hard working heroes behind the screens that work each and every day to help keep you safe.

MESSAGE TO A DISPATCHER

If you would like to say a few kind words to our Communications Officers during this week, please feel free to click on the link below. Your message will be shared with our dispatchers throughout the week. These are completely anonymous unless you choose to leave your name in the message box. We appreciate your kind and loving words in advance!

HOW CCSO RECOGNIZES NPSTW

At the Camden County Sheriff's Office we recognize National Public Safety Telecommunicators week several different ways. This year, we have partnered with many different community sponsors who have been generous enough to donate various items that we will be giving to our team throughout the week.

In addition, this year we will be having a banquette in celebration of NPSTW. Two of our Communications Officers have been nominated by their peers to receive awards, and these awards will be presented at the banquette this year.

We love our Communications Officers and simply could not do what we do without them. They are the true first-first responder, and they are the calm voice on the other end of the line when you need help.
