It has come to our attention that individuals are posing as deputies from our Sheriff's Office, contacting residents and falsely claiming that there's an active warrant for their arrest. These scammers are demanding payment of fines under the threat of sending deputies to carry out an arrest.

We want to make it crystal clear: THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE WILL NOT CALL YOU DEMANDING PAYMENT OR THREATENING ARREST OVER THE PHONE.

If there's a legitimate issue requiring your attention, our deputies will personally visit your residence. We prioritize your safety and adhere to strict protocols when addressing legal matters.
