Debbie Gordon is the Senior Finance Director of the Camden County Sheriff's Office Finance Division. Finance operations encompass many different areas, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budget, Grant Management, Purchasing, Property/Inventory and Fleet Management. The Finance Division focuses on the accountability for all taxpayer dollars spent by the Sheriff's Office. The Finance Division consists of three full time employees who handle any/all financial matters within the Sheriff’s Office. Those individuals oversee the financial operations for each division within the entire agency, while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and manage annual budget for the entire agency

• Advise Command Staff in budgetary plans to ensure the agency is able to secure resources for operations.

• Generate and interpret financial data in order to forecast yearly operational planning.

• Process requisitions from quotes submitted by all divisions and ensure orders meet both their requirements as well as County Purchasing Policies.

• Maintain all Accounts Payable vendor records, balance statements and process invoices/bills.

• Monitor and record all incoming revenue.

• Maintain all grant files, submit applications, prepare status reports and ensure appropriate utilization of grant funds.

• Manage appropriate handling, recording and spending of seized funding from criminal cases.

• Organize all agency travel for training, collects receipts from travel and processes accordingly.

• Oversee the inmate financial services and reconciliation of inmate accounts and purchases for inmates’ needs.

• Process medical invoices for all inmates.

• Maintain copies of all contracts.

• Oversee inventory of enforcement supplies of uniforms and equipment, both issued and stock.

• Oversee management of agency’s Fleet Services and Garage Operations.
