CAPTAIN HOLLY DOUGLAS

In charge of operations at the Camden County E911 Center is 911 Director Holly Douglas. Captain Douglas began her career at the Camden County Sheriff’s Office in 2001 as a Communications Officer, and has served as a Court Security Bailiff / Paper Server. She served as Assistant 911 Director from May 2005 until May 2008.

Captain Douglas is a Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council (POST) Certified Dispatcher, Georgia Certified Peace Officer, and General Instructor. Captain Douglas is also a Certified Communication Center Manager through National Emergency Number Association (NENA), and a Quality Assurance Professional through Priority Dispatch in three disciplines (Medical, Fire, Police). In addition, Captain Douglas is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. Mrs. Douglas lives in Camden County with her husband and children. She enjoys a good game of softball, and the simple things in life, especially spending time with her family and friends.
