PRESCRIPTION DRUG DROP-OFF BOX

CITIZENS CAN DROP OFF OUTDATES, UNUSED DRUGS IN SECURED CONTAINERS!

The Camden County Sheriff's Office has two secured drop box containers for outdated prescriptions medication. The secured containers are at the main office in Woodbine and the substation on Highway 40.

Anyone who has outdated or unused drugs can bring them to the drop box locations. The medications are destroyed by deputies specially trained to dispose of the drugs.

"The Drop Box Program for Outdated Drugs has been a true success during the past years", Sheriff Proctor said.

This program is a safe, hassle-free way for citizens to get the drugs out of a residence, and that the medication disposal also protects the environment. Removing the expired prescritions helps prevent accidental child exposure as well.
